Basically, #1570 solved multiple security issues that are currently present in the software. I run it on my server and it works great, so I think closing it without discussion was very immature.

It doesn't make it any less funny that it's possible though. Also when I said it was stupid, I meant more along the lines of "it's stupid that someone did this" rather than "it's stupid that this is possible"
